Plan

Onnera Group S. Coop, our parent company, is a cooperative society that belongs to the MONDRAGON Corporation and the Fagor regional group.

Our highest governing body is the Governing Board, which analyses, follows and approves the guidelines set by the Group’s Board of Directors and submits them to the General Meeting for approval, which includes all the cooperative’s members.

We work together to have a clear and shared vision, with which we strive towards common goals. Because owning our company makes us responsible and committed to governance sustainability as a mutual entity.

Implement

People are the core of our business project; that is why, for us at Onnera Group, sustainability must be social.

We believe that for people to give their best, there must be an advanced corporate culture. In this way, we encourage teamwork, manage diversity, look after people’s health, and promote a work-life balance.

We understand sustainability as an egalitarian essence, which is why we have policies and action plans at both the cooperative and Onnera Group levels that ensure equal opportunities and act against any form of discrimination. Moreover, we promote the well-being, social cohesion and economic progress of all our employees.

Execute

What actions are we taking in terms of environmental sustainability?

· Improvement of energy efficiency in the new industrial laundry products launched in 2023.

· New Laundry Plant in Oñati with the aim of becoming a benchmark plant in terms of sustainability in Europe with Leed (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Gold certification.

· Analysis of energy consumption at the plant of Onnera Refrigeration, S.A. (Lucena) with a view to making an investment during 2024 in terms of insulation and climate control of the building.

· Analysis and design of new offices at the Oñati headquarters with a sustainable approach regarding air conditioning, lighting, soundproofing, etc.

· Analysis of the new Lean Manufacturing production system at Onnera Group S. Coop’s Santxolopetegi plant, with a focus on more ergonomic, digital, automated, and efficient manufacturing, scheduled to start up during 2025.

· Commissioning of electrical outlets for charging electric/hybrid vehicles in the parking area of Onnera Group S. Coop’s Oñati headquarters.
